Welcome. I'm so happy you're here!
I hope this past week has had many beautiful moments!
Here's one of mine. A stunning evening at the Red Horse Inn listening to Darby Wilcox with my sweet friends.
If you haven't been to the Red Horse Inn, you can clearly see the BEAUTY of this space. It is family owned by my dear friends Allison and Christian Wolters, and their sweet little boy (plus their many animals). Definitely go see them and some live music sooooon.
A note on "making it beautiful" - Darby Wilcox has a gift for taking sad, even traumatic real-life stories and turning them into beautiful ballads — ones that inspire us to grow, stay open and curious, and look for the glimmers in life, even in spite of it all.
So I was in my feels last night. Honestly, some of it felt uncomfortable, because it made me recognize work I still need to do for myself. But reflecting on it all, it was beautiful. ✨

Healthy Habits
Yesterday, I reached out to a friend from high school and college who I hadn't talked to in YEARS, just to say I was thinking about them. I haven't heard back yet, but it felt good to send the message that was in my heart.
It reminded me: connections are healthy habits. A quick text. A phone call just to check in. A simple message goes a long way, and it might be exactly what someone needs to hear today.
As Maya Angelou said, "be a rainbow in someone's cloud." This week, maybe pick one person and reach out. Even better, invite them to a class and coffee afterward — get it on the calendar and make it real. 🌈
