The Bhagavad Gita, a timeless foundational scripture for yoga philosophy, provides lessons beyond the physical postures and into the path of self -realization. This course is designed for the dedicated practitioner and teachers aspiring to deepen their understanding of yoga. In depth study of this ancient text will broaden your knowledge into more advanced and complex yoga definitions. Going beyond academic and philosophical study, we will explore how profound the teachings of the Gita can be applied to your personal growth and will empower you to lead classes with greater depth, purpose and authenticity.
But which Bhagavad Gita should you read?
There are many commentaries and translations of the Bhagavad Gita. The poetry’s framework and structure in all Bhagavad Gita translations is always the same, yet styles varies by the specific commentators explanations, perspectives and personalities.
Feel free to choose “your” Gita to study and behold. You may choose your Book based on your connection to a particular commentator, the look of the cover or the amount of pages it contains to study. All of these reasons are lovely.
A few we have found beautiful for different reasons are:
• Paramahansa Yogananda’s singular edition or two leather bound editions are excellent for those who enjoy in depth studies with Sanskrit and technical details.
• Swami Satchidananda, The Living Gita, is perfect for those preferring side stories to reframe the original lesson in a gentle way.
• Gandhi’s Gita is a truly thoughtful piece that feels alive with a humble teacher guiding the story.
Also, audiobooks are a great way to listen and learn!

Join us for our monthly Wild Women's Circle
This is a sacred evening woven with connection, sisterhood, and the remembering of our power as women.
* We begin with open hearts and open hands—welcoming one another with playful icebreakers, warm conversation, and nourishing snacks.
* From there, we step into ritual: a gentle cleansing and opening of our circle, grounding us in intention and magic.
* Guided journaling and optional sharing invite each woman to explore her inner voice and be witnessed in her truth. As the evening unfolds, we create space for laughter, tears, wisdom, and the simple joy of being together.
Our circle closes around 9:30/10pm, but the night doesn’t have to end there—dancing, music, and sisterhood often spill into the after-hours for those who wish to linger.
What to Bring & Wear:
* Dress in whatever makes your spirit sing - cozy sweaters, flowing dresses, goddess gowns, whimsical layers, or magical sparkles. There are no rules, only invitation to wear what makes you feel radiant, comfortable, and most like YOU!
*Bring a journal and pen for reflections, a favorite treat or snack (for yourself or to share) and - if you wish - any spiritual treasures that hold meaning to you: moon water, crystals, tarot cards or cherished talismans of faith or magic.
The circle is lovingly held by spiritual guide Maykayla and mental health professional Janey Capers, who weave together intuition, grounding, and joy to create a safe, magical container for all who enter.

Yoga Philosophy is a method of practicing self-control by restraining the mental activities from kleÅas (afflictions). Then we can abide in the form of our choosing. Otherwise, we will identify with the mental activities (asmitÄ) and be controlled by them. The YogasÅ«tra offers many methods for restraining mental activities from afflictions. For mature practitioners: the continuous practice of samÄdhi (abhyÄsa) & renouncing all afflictions (vairÄgya). For intermediate practitioners: the uninterrupted practice (KriyÄyoga) of scorching afflictions (tapas), self-governance (svÄdhyÄya) & devotion to Sovereignty (Ä«Åvara praį¹idhÄna). For beginners: the 8-Limb method (Aį¹£į¹Äį¹
ga Yoga.) In this course you will learn about the origins of Yoga in the Kaį¹hopaniį¹£ad, the BhagavadgÄ«tÄ, the YogÄcÄrabhÅ«miÅÄstra, and the YogasÅ«tra. You will also learn how you can apply these insights in practical daily living and in teaching Yoga classes.

Austin Shook, of Alignment Sound Energy, will play an array musical instruments from ancient cultures to create a space of deep peace.
In this SOUND BATH, you will have the opportunity to connect with aspects of yourselves that often get foggy through our daily routines. You may experience deep relaxing states that can promote awareness of yourself beyond the body and deep into the essence of your Being.
Sound is vibration and we know that vibration touches every part of our physical being. Sound is heard not only through our ears but through every cell in our bodies. Come let healing processes be initiated by the unique tones of this sound bath, creating the perfect state for deep meditation, creative thinking and intuitive messages.
Please wear comfortable clothes, bring a yoga mat, and expect to relax using blankets and bolsters.
