Wild Women's Circle

Jun 12, 2026

Join us for our monthly Wild Women's Circle

This is a sacred evening woven with connection, sisterhood, and the remembering of our power as women.

* We begin with open hearts and open hands—welcoming one another with playful icebreakers, warm conversation, and nourishing snacks.

* From there, we step into ritual: a gentle cleansing and opening of our circle, grounding us in intention and magic.

* Guided journaling and optional sharing invite each woman to explore her inner voice and be witnessed in her truth. As the evening unfolds, we create space for laughter, tears, wisdom, and the simple joy of being together.

Our circle closes around 9:30/10pm, but the night doesn’t have to end there—dancing, music, and sisterhood often spill into the after-hours for those who wish to linger.

What to Bring & Wear:
* Dress in whatever makes your spirit sing - cozy sweaters, flowing dresses, goddess gowns, whimsical layers, or magical sparkles. There are no rules, only invitation to wear what makes you feel radiant, comfortable, and most like YOU!
*Bring a journal and pen for reflections, a favorite treat or snack (for yourself or to share) and - if you wish - any spiritual treasures that hold meaning to you: moon water, crystals, tarot cards or cherished talismans of faith or magic.

The circle is lovingly held by spiritual guide Maykayla and mental health professional Janey Capers, who weave together intuition, grounding, and joy to create a safe, magical container for all who enter.

🌙 Come as you are. Leave more connected, more empowered, and more alive.

Movement Medicine & Yoga Anarchy

Jun 16, 2026

Movement Medicine is a musically inspired somatic dance and yin yoga experience to express your truth and reconnect with your soul’s rhythm in community.
Through intuitive somatics, free-form dance, and yin yoga, we release repressed emotions and remember our power.
You leave grounded, clear, creatively alive, and fully at home in your body.

Yoga Anarchy recognizes that all humans are worthy to receive the benefits of yoga, somatic and mindfulness practices with a focus on those working within activist spaces. Our goal is to offer donation based wellness offerings to the community, working to create a curious and compassionate space to deconstruct the harmful hierarchies within our own minds using our breath, bodies and yoga’s philosophical foundations. Unlike a hierarchy, no one human holds more value than another, and we co-create spaces of curious compassion to safely explore our humanity with each other to benefit ourselves AND the communities we work to serve.

Trauma Informed Yoga Training

Jul 11, 2026 - Jul 12, 2026

Trauma-Informed Yoga is an experiential 16-hour module within the 300-hour YTT program, offering a practical and embodied approach to understanding how trauma lives in the body, and how yoga can support healing. Taught by Courtney Chandler, LPC, ATR-BC, E-RYT 500, this training explores the impact of trauma on the nervous system and teaches you how to create intentional, empowering spaces rooted in safety, choice, and compassion.

This training includes how to design population-specific sequencing and incorporates elements inspired by trauma therapies such as EMDR and Parts Work, alongside somatic tools, breathwork, inclusive language, and nervous system regulation techniques. Through a blend of movement, discussion, and real-world application, you’ll explore trauma-informed sequencing, mindful language and cueing, ethical and legal considerations, and sacred space holding. You’ll gain the tools to adapt yoga practices for diverse populations, including those navigating anxiety, grief, PTSD, addiction, and chronic stress, while staying grounded in your scope of practice.

This training qualifies you to become Trauma-Informed Yoga (TIY) certified, and offers 16 CE hours approved through Yoga Alliance. Whether you’re teaching in studios, schools, clinical settings, or community spaces, you’ll walk away with the skills and confidence to teach yoga and hold space for embodied healing with clarity, presence, and purpose.

“Abbey’s classes are such an inspiration to me that always leads me back to her! There is something so special about her voice that just calms you. I feel like a part of me is missing when I don’t get my morning yoga class in. I am more content, happier and fulfilled. I always try and remember Abbey’s words of ‘respectful communication’!”

Lizette

“Abbey Garcia is the BEST yoga instructor in the Upstate (or probably anywhere). I’ve practiced with her for nearly 4 years. Practicing with Abbey has helped me improve my overall body strength as well as maintain my balance both physically and in life emotionally. Abbey excels at instruction and she creates a unique environment for each class that keeps me focused and mindful during each pose for maximum benefit. Her words at the end of each practice give me closure to class but also thoughts to carry throughout my day. Abbey is creative, helpful, patient, accepting, friendly and kind. I look forward to every yoga class with Abbey.”

Heidi

“We have found new friends directly because of yoga. Some of these friendships are the kind to cherish, lifetime ones!”

Nick

“As moms, life can get hectic and so being able to take a breath and connect with myself and my friends is a real treat for us! It’s a reset. Just talking about it makes me want to go to yoga right now.”

Ruth & Jenny

“You know those yoga classes that are everything you need them to be? Like if you could’ve created your ideal class? And it’s almost euphoric? Elizabeth’s class was that for me! It was magical. I haven’t had one quite like that in YEARS. I’m still riding a high from it. Thank you so, so much!”
