It is a safe space to try something, even if it involves completely falling out of it! There will be no failing, nor any winning (unless everyone’s a winner… I’m good with that too)😉
Bottom line: “It doesn’t matter, as long as you are having fun!”
All are welcome!

This is a 6 week series that can be taken altogether to get a comprehensive understanding and implementation of the 5 Elements in Ayurveda & Yoga. You can also pick and choose which classes you would like to participate in; however, it is recommended that you take the first class if you are fairly new to Ayurveda.
• Week 1. Jan 9th: What’s Your Dosha?!
Introduction to Ayurveda, the 5 Elements, and the Doshas.
- Learn the basics of Ayurveda as a science and art of life
- Discover how the 5 Elements relate to human nature and how these qualities are experienced in each of us.
- Find out your unique constitution - the ratio and balance of the doshas in your body.
Weeks 2-6, we will be honoring one of the 5 elements: ether, air, fire, water, and earth.
In each class we will begin with a 15 minute introduction followed by a 60 minute yoga class. Our goal is to understand the Gunas, or qualities, associated with each element and how to balance your Doshas. (When there is an imbalance, this can cause numerous physical and mental health afflictions.)
• Week 2. Jan. 16th: Ether - Related to Vata / Balancing Pitta & Kapha
• Week 3. Jan. 23rd: Air - Related to Vata / Balancing Pitta & Kapha
• Week 4. Jan. 30th: Fire - Related to Pitta / Balancing Vata and Kapha
• Week 5. Feb. 5th: Water - Related to Kapha / Balancing Vata
• Week 6. Feb 13th: Earth - Related to Kapha / Balancing Vata and Pitta
Discover asana (poses), pranayama (breathwork), and other healthy lifestyle practices tailored for Vata, Pitta, and Kapha doshas to integrate into your daily life and yoga practice.
