Zumbini with Chrissi

Feb 20, 2025 - Apr 10, 2025
$ 18.00 per class $ 150.00 for entire series

Zumbini is an early childhood education music program designed for children ages 0-4 that uses original music, dancing, instrument exploration and interaction with caregivers and other children to promote cognitive, social, fine/gross motor skill, and emotional development.
☻ Music and Movement
In each session your child will learn many songs from different cultures. The music is easy for caregivers to sing and dance along to! Rather than adhere to a strict, goal-oriented curriculum, Zumbini classes are flexibly structured in a way that allows children to be free to participate and explore in the way that comes most naturally to them, ensuring inclusion and effectiveness for visual, auditory and kinesthetic learners.

☻ Bonding
Zumbini is designed to create a bonding experience between children and their parents or caregivers. For children that are non mobile, holding them while dancing helps them learn what rhythm and dancing is!

☻ Parent Participation
Zumbini is a parent participation program, and parents are strongly encouraged to sing and dance along as children learn and imitate their caregivers more than anyone else in their life!

Zumbini will nurture your child’s love of music as it becomes a way of life, and they won’t even realize they are learning because they will be having so much fun!
This class gives grownups the chance to nurture their inner child as well while creating the ultimate bonding experience for caregiver and child!

There are four sessions in a year, and each session has a new corresponding character and music/story book including access to 20 new songs. If you’d like access to the songs, please let Chrissi know so she can order it for you separately.

“Abbey’s classes are such an inspiration to me that always leads me back to her! There is something so special about her voice that just calms you. I feel like a part of me is missing when I don’t get my morning yoga class in. I am more content, happier and fulfilled. I always try and remember Abbey’s words of ‘respectful communication’!”

Lizette

“Abbey Garcia is the BEST yoga instructor in the Upstate (or probably anywhere). I’ve practiced with her for nearly 4 years. Practicing with Abbey has helped me improve my overall body strength as well as maintain my balance both physically and in life emotionally. Abbey excels at instruction and she creates a unique environment for each class that keeps me focused and mindful during each pose for maximum benefit. Her words at the end of each practice give me closure to class but also thoughts to carry throughout my day. Abbey is creative, helpful, patient, accepting, friendly and kind. I look forward to every yoga class with Abbey.”

Heidi

“We have found new friends directly because of yoga. Some of these friendships are the kind to cherish, lifetime ones!”

Nick

“As moms, life can get hectic and so being able to take a breath and connect with myself and my friends is a real treat for us! It’s a reset. Just talking about it makes me want to go to yoga right now.”

Ruth & Jenny

“You know those yoga classes that are everything you need them to be? Like if you could’ve created your ideal class? And it’s almost euphoric? Elizabeth’s class was that for me! It was magical. I haven’t had one quite like that in YEARS. I’m still riding a high from it. Thank you so, so much!”
