6 Week Series
Dates: June 5, 12, 19, 26 and July 10 & 17.
This series is designed specifically for women looking for a safe space to practice yoga for healing, and structured to support and heal your mind, body, and spirit from the impacts of trauma, grief, or the impacts of an over-stressed nervous system. This group series also incorporates mindful practices to help you explore, transform, and heal from painful experiences as you process through difficult emotions in meaningful ways and more personally support the depth of your healing yoga practice.
Through honoring our bodies and expressing our thoughts through more than words, we allow our minds and our hearts the space we need to heal.
This six-week group will guide you through trauma-informed yoga practices (gentle vinyasa-flow yoga; restorative yoga, and yoga nidra), meditation, and mindfulness practices. Each session is intentionally tailored to promote healing and relaxation of the mind and body. The atmosphere will be structured to nurture your soul, and will include tea, aroma therapy (essential oils), and yoga/meditation props.
The group size will be small, capped at 12 women.
This Trauma-Informed Yoga group is facilitated by Courtney Chandler, LPC, ATR-BC, AADC, E-RYT 500. Courtney has been teaching yoga since 2013 and is certified in Trauma Conscious Yoga Methods and Y12SR (Yoga for 12 Step Recovery). Courtney is also a Board-Certified Art Therapist, Licensed Professional Counselor, and Certified Grief Informed Professional who integrates aspects of Somatic Experiencing (SE) trauma therapy, EMDR trauma therapy, and mindfulness-based stress reduction into her therapeutic practices.

Closing Celebration:
On Thursday, we will walk to Pink Mamas for an ice cream celebration and the students will demonstrate the Sun Salutations they learned!

This method is designed to release repressed emotions, balance your energy + get embodied.
Kat Beck is an energy worker, embodiment artist, intuitive somatic guide, 500 RYT, and licensed massage therapist (SC 11560). She guides you to alchemize pain into power through movement.

Kids will learn and explore a variety of dance styles, including jazz, hip-hop, and musical theater. They will learn technique while being encouraged to find their own unique self-expression.
No dance experience necessary. Class will be adaptable to all backgrounds and abilities.
- Wear Comfortable Clothes

Thursday Celebration:
Parents arrive at 3:45 for a final performance. Then we will walk over to Pink Mamas for a complimentary treat.
Our Dance Teacher, Ms. Bri:
Briana Scafidi was trained in tap, jazz, ballet, and acrobatics from the age of 2 in Boston, MA, and studied dance at Salve Regina University. She taught all styles to children and adults for 10 years and has choreographed for various theatre groups in Greater Boston and New York City. In 2023 she was nominated for an Outstanding Choreography award by the Boston Theatre Critics Association.

All classes will focus on breathing to help reduce stress and anxiety. Feel free to try any of our classes, because no matter where you are, our exceptional teachers will help guide your yoga practice in a manner that is appropriate for you!
