Breath is our most constant companion—and one of the most powerful tools we have to support health, energy, and clarity. In this workshop, we’ll dive into the science and practice of breathing.
We’ll explore:
• How breath balances the nervous system
• The difference between nasal and mouth breathing
• Anatomy of the respiratory system and how it supports us
• The distinction of “breathing more” vs “breathing less”
• Oxygen and carbon dioxide exchange in the body
• Pranayama practices and their benefits
Alongside practice and discussion, we’ll draw inspiration from James Nestor’s book Breath, which has sparked curiosity around how something so simple can change so much.
Expect a blend of learning, practice, and insight to help you understand your breath on a deeper level—so you can teach (and live) from a place of awareness and ease.
