Mythology In Movement

Mythology in Movement
Yoga is more than postures—it’s a living tradition woven with myth, story, and symbolism. In this workshop, we’ll explore how ancient tales can enrich the asana practice, creating a bridge between movement, meaning, and the deeper layers of self.

We’ll Explore:
• Inspiration & Symbolism: Understand how mythological stories provide imagery that can enrich asana and inspire transformation.
• Teaching through Story: Learn techniques to weave storytelling, metaphor, and symbolism into class themes in a way that feels authentic and impactful.
• Connection to Spirit: Using mythology as a thread between the physical practice and yoga’s spiritual roots, opening pathways to connect with the divine within us through movement.
• Grounding & Emotional Connection: How stories anchor us in practice, helping us navigate challenges and cultivate balance both on and off the mat.
• Applied Practice: Experience guided practices where stories are integrated into sequencing, then practice designing and delivering your own myth-inspired class.

By the end of this training, you’ll be equipped with both the understanding and practical tools to bring myths to life in your teaching and/or personal practice.
