Yesterday morning (January 1, 2026 ) marked three years since Zen Rabbit Yoga opened its doors.

Abbey welcomed the new year by teaching a New Year's Day yoga class and hosting a small prize giveaway to recognize those who completed her 12 Days of Yoga challenge throughout December. I wasn't able to attend the class itself, but I did make it to the giveaway afterward.

Standing there in the room, I felt something that's hard to put into words.

I felt the community she has built.

I watched people connect easily...laughing, sharing stories, expressing genuine appreciation for Abbey and for one another. There was warmth in the room. Gratitude. Joy. The kind of energy you can't manufacture or market; it only grows when something real has been nurtured over time.

I'll be honest: it nearly brought me to tears.

Watching the Impact, Not Just the Work

As her husband, I see the effort that happens behind the scenes: the planning, the care, the emotional investment, the steady commitment to doing things with integrity even when it’s hard or uncertain.

But moments like this are different. Moments like this show the impact.

Zen Rabbit Yoga isn't just a studio. It's a space where people feel seen, supported, and encouraged to show up for themselves. Seeing that reflected back through the people in the room, I witnessed the joy being given and received which reminded me just how meaningful Abbey's work truly is.

A Reflection That Goes Beyond One Day

That feeling I experienced yesterday isn't new, and it isn't accidental. It's the result of years of intention, consistency, and heart.
