Welcome to Leo Season 🦁
Leo season is here, and with it comes an invitation to shine. Ruled by the sun, this fire sign asks us to write our own story — the season of authentic, joyful self-expression, where courage and creativity move as one. It's a time to trust your inner fire, to let your heart's language spill out in movement, in words, and in the way you show up for the people you love. This month, we're leaning into that light. Let's take up space together.

Healthy Habits
Not just for Leo's - We all have fire within us.
❤️‍🔥 for your Heart Fire:
••• A "courage journal" — write down one bold, heart-driven decision (big or small) you made each day, building the habit of acting from authenticity rather than fear.
••• If you feel called — speak a truth out loud — something you've been holding back, shared with a friend, partner, or even just yourself in the mirror. Leo season is about giving voice to what's real.

🔥 for your Digestive Fire:
••• Food tip: Ginger wakes up digestion!
Ginger-Turmeric Tonic ( Makes 2 servings)

2 cups water
1-inch piece fresh ginger, sliced
1-inch piece fresh turmeric (or 1 tsp ground turmeric)
Pinch of black pepper
Honey and lemon to tast

- Simmer water, ginger, and turmeric together for 10 minutes. Strain, stir in a pinch of black pepper (helps the body absorb turmeric's benefits), then add honey and lemon to taste. Drink warm.
🍹Want to make it a mocktail? Use sparkling water and add in apple cider vinegar for an extra digestive kick and pour over some ice.

••• Pranayama to Stoke Your Inner Fire: Agnisara
How to practice:
Sit or stand, slightly rounded spine with hand on knees. Exhale completely through your mouth, then hold the breath out. With lungs empty, pump your belly in and out 10–15 times, then release and inhale slowly through your nose. Rest a few breaths, then repeat for 3–4 rounds.
:) it seems weird but it works
Best practiced on an empty stomach, ideally in the morning. Skip this one if you're pregnant, menstruating, or managing high blood pressure or abdominal issues.

Class Highlight:
Flowetry weaves a creative mindful vinyasa flow with grounding yin yoga, and thoughtfully chosen poetry for a practice that feels both expressive and deeply soothing.
Devin—whose teaching naturally carries the rhythm and clarity of a poet—guides you through mindful movement, intentional pauses, and words that nourish the heart.
1st Tuesday of the month at 6:30pm
