Zen Rabbit Yoga Teacher

Elise Bradfute

Elise discovered yoga in 2017 during her senior year of college at the University of South Carolina. Practicing a variety of mindful movement practices, she began to realize how helpful it was in providing clarity and alleviating her anxieties and struggles with depression. It was the key to being healthy, grounded, and staying true to her authentic self.

After graduating in 2018, Elise moved to Greenville. She joined a yoga studio right away and fell in love with the practice even more. She then decided to deepen her practice by going through a hands-on assistant training in 2019, yoga sculpt training in 2021 and most recently her 200-hour YTT in Spring 2023, graduating from the Asheville Yoga Center. She taught art to 3K - 6th grade students for 4 years at a small private school in Spartanburg. Recently, she decided to take a break from the classroom to find more time and ease within her schedule. Currently, Elise nannies and helps homeschool for a family of four awesome boys in TR alongside teaching vinyasa, yoga sculpt, kids yoga, and hands-on assisting vinyasa classes weekly. She will begin her 300-hour YTT journey in September 2023.

As an experienced teacher of children, Elise has been told she is caring, patient and encouraging. She designs her kids yoga classes with intention and creativity by engaging her students physically and mentally. Her kid’s yoga classes always have a “take-away”. Students will be guided in movement and breathwork, as well as a creative hands on activity to provide further understanding.

During her free time, Elise enjoys taking time to build her illustration portfolio, spending time with her husband, Joe, and other loved ones, especially out in nature. She is eager to grow as a teacher and make connections within the community.
