Zen Rabbit Yoga Teacher

Connie Rollins

Connie welcomes individuals of all backgrounds to explore the sublime mind-body-soul connection via mindful breathing, skillfully aligned postures, and intentional movement. Options for modifications and uplevels are readily available so practitioners can feel for, then choose what is correct in their unique body to feel empowered and inspired. Connie is happy simply when people leave feeling better than when they walked in.

Connie started teaching yoga in 2013 after a transformative training with Albina and Roger Rippy of YogaOne in Houston, TX. Thrilled that she could put her Human Biology degree to use, she dove head first into the lush landscape of the Houston yoga scene. Along with teaching yoga, she worked in yoga studios, assisted teacher training and worked in teacher development. Throughout her career she has practiced and/or taught Power Yoga, Hot Yoga, Yin, Forrest Yoga, Progressive Ashtanga and Prenatal + Postnatal Yoga. She is currently an E-RYT 200 teacher.

Although she’s privileged to learn from extraordinary teachers, Connie considers the best teacher to be life itself. In marriage, raising a family, building a career, enriching relationships and letting some go, and the many trials and revelations of living in the modern world, she credits the tools of yoga and her personal spiritual practices to keeping her heart open and mind clear. When Connie and her family moved to the Greenville area in 2021, they unintentionally settled in Travelers Rest. She gets to witness the beauty of this unexpected providence every single day watching her children thrive closer to nature and being met with kindness by the residents of this special place by the mountains.
